Dr. Abhishek Patil
Dr Abhishek Patil has done his MBBS and MS in Orthopaedics from the prestigious, KEM Hospital and Seth GS Medical College Mumbai. His Keen interest in Joint Replacement Surgery led him to pursue fellowship training in Navigation and Robotic assisted Knee replacement at Chonnam National University Hospital in South Korea in 2012-2013.
In recognition of his academic credentials he was invited to do a fellowship program in Revision Joint replacement and Complex primary Joint Replacement under the aegis of the Australian Orthopaedic association. He completed his training at the Warringal Hospital Melbourne under one of the most renowned joint replacement surgeon in Australia , Mr Neil Bergman.
On his return to India in 2017 he spent some time with some of the leading Joint replacement surgeons understanding the Indian Scenario in joint replacement surgery before finally starting his practice as an independent consultant.
He has a vast experience in all forms of hip and knee replacement surgeries, involving primary, complex primary, and revision surgeries. Until now, he has performed more than 1,000 successful joint replacement surgeries.
He has been often invited to deliver speeches at multiple conferences in the field of Joint Replacement Surgery. He has published multiple academic research papers in scientific journals of joint replacement and orthopedics. He was also invited on behalf of the Bombay Orthopedic Society to review articles on some of the complex issues and recent trends in the field of knee replacement surgery.
He aims at delivering a level of treatment compared to international standards to his patients. While updating to modern and evolving technologies he has continued to provide ethical, research-based, and quality healthcare service.
